Stray dogs in Taiwan - these were healthy and one, was even, kind of fat (the fat one was friendlier so I think more people fed it). Before I went to Taiwan I read on the Internet about how the stray dogs were in such bad shape. What I found is that many dogs are well fed by people eating at the many, many food venders that are everywhere. In fact I saw many dogs refuse to eat just anything people offered. These picky dogs would hold out and wait until some one gave them a choice piece of food. The stay dogs I saw in Taiwan were in good shape especially compared to the street dogs I use to see in Mexico as a kid.

Welcome to Dogs Taiwan I hope this will be a place for people in Taiwan to exchange information about dogs, dog activities and other dog stuff. Such as the best places to get quality services such as dog grooming, training or veterinary services and the best places along with the best prices to get good dog stuff and of course the places to avoid.

I may be going back to Taiwan this Chinese New Years and would like to have some dog owning friends to hang out with. I would also be interested in doing a behavior clinic while I'm visiting. If you are interested in the behavior clinic please let me know.
